Aerial are a power-pop band formed in Aberdeen, Scotland in the late 1990s. In 1999, the band signed to London-label Fantastic Plastic Records〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://fpmusic.org/shop/AERIAL/back-within-reach )〕 and recorded and released two EPs, Signal〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.discogs.com/Aerial-Signal-EP/release/1756295 )〕 and Star of the Show〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.nme.com/reviews/aerial/2932 )〕 in 2000.

Aerial announced via their Twitter page that they had returned to the studio to record a new album, to be released in 2014.
